Three-dimensional cooperation

The University of Silesia in Katowice has signed a cooperation agreement with i3D SA, which is one of the leading companies in the world that develops and implements interactive three-dimensional visualizations and virtual reality technology.

The i3D group’s activities include doing research in cooperation with businesses, creating and implementing innovative projects, including developmental projects in the field of advanced virtual reality technology (HighTechVR). . 

The areas of cooperation between the University and the company will include, among others:

  • conducting joint research and development programs
  • presenting and disseminating achievements jointly
  • exchanging experience within the area of knowledge management
  • participating in joint activities that will be focused on acquiring the funds to ensure the effective cooperation based on partnership

The University of Silesia in Katowice plans to establish and develop cooperation with scientific centers and institutions all over the world. The University has already concluded more than 1,000 cooperation contracts with institutions of higher education, research units and foreign companies, owing to which it conducts a great many scientific projects and exchange programs for international students and employees.
